Africa MICE Summit 2026 Heads to Mombasa from 1st - 2nd October 2026

The Africa MICE Summit (AMS) 2026 will take place in Mombasa, Kenya, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of Africa's business events industry and reinforcing the growing importance of destination diversification across the continent.

Scheduled for 1–2 October 2026, the summit's move to Kenya's coastal city reflects a broader industry trend towards decentralising business events and recognising that the future growth of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) will be driven by a network of competitive destinations beyond traditional conference hubs.

Over recent years, there has been increasing recognition that business events are far more than gatherings of professionals. They are strategic platforms that attract investment, facilitate trade, stimulate innovation, strengthen partnerships and contribute significantly to destination development and economic growth.

Why Mombasa?

Against this backdrop, Mombasa emerges as a fitting host city for the next chapter of the Africa MICE Summit. Long renowned as one of Africa's leading leisure tourism destinations, the city has steadily strengthened its business tourism infrastructure and expanded its capacity to host meetings, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.
